Hello Party People,
There is so much to say but I still don't have the words to describe my release. It almost doesn't feel real but I reached Bestseller staus in not one, not two, but 23 CATEGORIES, in 6 different marketplaces!! (that's 6 different countries!).
My favourite stat - #1 Bestseller in the Self Help category in all of Canada.
What people didn't see that day, or leading up to it was how challenging January was leading up to my release.
Some of the thoughts that ran through my head were...
I'm a fraud.
Was this even worth it?
I was challenged throughout the process of writing my book but the final 10 days before my release were the toughest. I was counting down the days for it to "be over." And I was lost and confused why I wasn't excited.
I had a long list of fears and stories I had to work through but the biggest perspective shift came to me on the morning of my release. I knew that I was starting a new chapter and because I didn't know what came next, the possibilities were limitless and I got to choose.
Choice can feel overwhelming when we don't quite know what to do, or where to turn. But something I tell my coaching clients all the time is that with each step you take you're finding more clarity, even if it's learning what you don't want. That is just as beneficial as understanding what you do. Don't let indecision or fear keep your Someday Dream up in the clouds.
So when you're at a crossroads or in a transition not knowing what's next, just remember to breathe and lean into the possibility, revel in it! Breathe and keep moving forward.
This week I'm going to share a podcast interview with a beautiful soulful friend of mine on her podcast Journey to Joy where I speak about my book but also more about my personal experience along my journey.
P.S. If you haven't grabbed a copy of my book jump on over to Amazon ASAP!
